CONDENSATION

EXAMPLE OF CONDENSATION
This is an exaple of water condensation. Water has condensed on this leaf.

Condensing is the change from a gas to a liquid. The condensing point of a substance is the point at which the substance condenses. The condensing point of a substance is the same as the boiling point of a substance. The condensing and boiling point for water is 100 degrees Celcius.

Changing from a gas to a liquid is done by taking heat away from the substance. The molecules in a gas are free to move around except during collisions. The molecules in a liquid are loosely packed. To change from a gas phase to a liquid phase, you take heat away from the substance, and that expands the molecules to form a gas.
