Boiling

Boiling is the change from a liquid to a gas. The boiling point of a substance is the point at which the substance boils. The boiling point of a substance is the same as the condensing point of a substance. The boiling and condesing point for water is 100 degrees Celcius.

Changing from a liquid to a gas is done by adding heat to the substance. The molecules in a liquid are loosely packed. The molecules in a gas have no molecular arrangement and freely move around, exceot during collisions. To change from a liquid phase to a gas phase, you add heat to the substance. To change from a liquid to a gas, you add heat to the substance, and that expands the molecules to form a gas.
